1. 1“Salary For Life” describes a planning approach that uses guaranteed lifetime income products issued by insurance companies. It is not a product name, an account type, or a government program.
2. 2Protection from market index declines refers to features of the underlying insurance contract. Guarantees are subject to the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company and to the terms, limits, and fees of the contract.
3. 3Lifetime payments depend on the income option elected and require the contract to remain in force under its terms. Withdrawals in excess of the elected income may reduce or end future payments.
